Union Leasing Appoints New Regional Sales Manager for the NorthEast
3/4/08 Schaumburg, IL - Union Leasing is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Sihksnel as its Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast. Sihksnel will report
directly to Mark Conroy, Vice President Sales and Marketing for Union Leasing. Union’s rapid expansion and growth has created this opportunity. Sihksnel will be responsible for
an East Coast multi state sales territory providing vehicle management solutions to companies in the 10-500 fleet market.
Prior to his appointment with Union, Sihksnel was Vice President Business Development for GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services based out of Melville, New York since 1993.
He also spent 10 years as Vice President/ Regional Sales Manager with Leasing Associates prior to GE Fleet. Over his 25 year fleet management career, Sihksnel has sourced and
managed total portfolios in excess of 32 million dollars.

Randy Pozin earns U First Achievers Club Award for 2007
2/20/08 Schaumburg, IL - North Central Regional Sales Manager Randy Pozin was recognized as the 2007 Union Leasing Regional Manager of the Year at the Annual Company wide meetings on February 20th, 2008. He was awarded the 2007 U First Achievers Club Award by Union’s VP Sales and Marketing Mark Conroy at the Schaumburg Marriott in Schaumburg, Illinois. He was recognized for his sales performance, leadership and his commitment to the vision, core values and mission of Union Leasing.
Pozin, with 32 years of fleet management industry experience, has consistently performed well in the fleet management industry since 1975. His wife Nancy and daughters Amy and Suzanne provided the motivation and support.
Donna Morgan recieves Extra Mile Award for 2007
2/20/08 Schaumburg, IL - Union Leasing is proud to announce that the recipient of the first “Extra Mile Award” is Account Manager, Donna Morgan. The award is open all Union employees, it represents outstanding service to both our clients and fellow employees.
The “Extra Mile Award” is based on peer review and is given to the individual that most closely demonstrates the core values of Accountability, Commitment, Creativity, Passion and Respect. Donna exemplifies these values and we applaud her contributions to the organization. The presentation was made by Shad Peterson, Chief Executive Officer at the annual company dinner.
Kent Boskovich, appointed to the position of Director of Lessors for AFLA
10/18/07 Schaumburg, IL - Kent Boskovich, President of Union Leasing, has been appointed to the position of Director of Lessors on the Board of the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association (www.aflaonline.org). His appointment was made at the 39th Annual AFLA Conference at the Loews Ventana Resort in Tucson, Arizona on September 5th-7th, 2007.
Kent’s responsibilities will be to act as the liason between AFLA and the Industry’s Fleet Management Lessors. Kent has been an active member of AFLA for many years and had previously run for a Board position in 2006. Union Leasing has been well represented over the years at AFLA by CEO Shad Peterson and Vice President Sales and Marketing Mark Conroy, the latter having just completed his term as AFLA President in 2006-2007. Mr. Boskovich’s current term is up in June 2008. At that time, he will be able to run for a two year re-election as Director Lessors or choose to run as Vice President and become an Executive Officer of AFLA.
AFLA’s President for 2007-2008 is Elsie Lucia from Estee Lauder and Executive Vice President is Mike Antich from Bobit Business Media. Next year’s Conference is scheduled for September 10th-12th, 2008 at the Marriott Camelback Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Mark Conroy Joins Union as Vice President Sales & Marketing
7/12/07 Schaumburg, IL - Union Leasing Inc. announced today that Mark Conroy has joined the company as Vice President Sales & Marketing. Conroy comes to Union with 26 years of sales and management experience within the fleet industry. Mr. Conroy will be responsible for leading Union’s North American sales team, strategic marketing and fostering development partners reporting directly to recently named President, Kent Boskovich. Mr. Conroy will work from offices in Roswell, Ga.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Conroy held various positions with Alpharetta, Ga based LeasePlan USA including Director of Marketing, National Sales Vice President and Mid Market Sales Vice President for Lease Plan USA. Additionally, he was responsible for LeasePlan’s International Coordination efforts handling global fleets of 1,500 and under. Prior to LeasePlan, Mr. Conroy spent 6 years in Sales with Union Leasing in the Midwest and was based in Chicago.

Union Leasing Announces Strategic Changes in Senior Management
4/27/07 Schaumburg, IL - Union Leasing Inc. announced today that current President Shad Peterson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer by its Board. At the same time Mr. Peterson takes great pleasure in announcing that Kent Boskovich, VP & Managing Director of Business Development and Marketing, will become the next President of Union Leasing, overseeing all day-to-day activities and working with Shad on future strategic directions. "Kent has been a cornerstone of Union Leasing, my Executive Team and a true partner; I am extremely happy for him in this role and expect great things for our company in the future." said Shad Peterson.
Kent has spent his entire professional career in the fleet management industry, of which the last nine years have been with Union Leasing. Kent's experience also includes sales management positions with GE Fleet Services and Wheelco Leasing. Kent has undergraduate degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration, and an MBA in Finance from DePaul University.
As CEO, Mr. Peterson will spend his time focusing on making sure Union can achieve its vision and goal of becoming a leader in the small and medium business fleet management industry. "These are exciting times at Union. Our organization has experienced exceptional growth over the past several years while remaining true to its mission of providing dedicated customer service and reducing the cost of fleet administration for its customers" said Shad Peterson. "We will continue to invest time and money into new products, which will result in servicing our clients better." Greg Carson Joins Union as Managing Director Fleet Operations
4/11/07 Schaumburg, IL - Union Leasing Inc. announced today that Greg Carson has joined the company as Managing Director of Fleet Operations. Carson comes to Union with 20 years of sales and management experience within the fleet services industry. Mr. Carson will have the responsibility of leadership and management over all aspects of Union Leasing fleet operations including department oversight for Purchasing, Licensing & Tilting, Fleet Maintenance & Insurance and Remarketing.
Mr. Carson’s past experience includes 4 years as Director of Vehicle Accident & Insurance Services for PHH Arval, fifteen years sales and management capacities with the former Chicago based Consolidated Service Corporation (CSC) and numerous process improvement consultancies with fleet management providers.

Myles McEvilly Joins Union as Managing Director Client Services
2/22/07 - Schaumburg, IL Union Leasing, Inc. announced today that Myles McEvilly has joined the company as Managing Director of Client Services. McEvilly comes to Union after 28 years of distinguished service with Wheels Inc. of Des Plaines, Illinois. He will have the responsibility of leadership and management over all aspects of customer planning, client service and providing consultative fleet administration for Union clients.
While employed by Wheels McEvilly served as General Manager of the midsize fleet division and was responsible for sales and service for the eastern half of the United States. McEvilly also served as the Midwest regional consulting manager.
"Myles has deep experience in the automotive industry, including business development and client relations. He has a great track record for delivering service and value," said Shad Peterson, President. "He brings to Union a high commitment to customer satisfaction, with his years of experience he is ideally suited for the position and will be an asset in assisting Union in maintaining its position as a leading lessor in the small and medium markets.
